Sectors
Averian works where the regulatory or capital burden makes getting it wrong expensive — and where strategy, compliance and technology are the same conversation.
Market entry, portfolio strategy, and the systems that run a generation or supply business. We have built energy businesses from the inside — regulator licensing, the business process framework of a supply company, and the portfolio platforms the sector runs on.
Validated delivery, computerised system assurance and the transition to risk-based CSA, in GxP manufacturing and laboratory operations. In an inspected environment the question is not only whether a system works, but whether you can demonstrate it to someone whose job is to doubt it.
Growth models, operating structure and delivery assurance at scale, in businesses where a release that goes wrong is visible to every customer within the hour.
Process frameworks, cost and efficiency programmes, and post-acquisition integration — including national-scale transformation portfolios where the programme outlasts the people who started it.
Regulated industries
A significant part of Averian’s software quality work is done where the question is not only whether a system works, but whether you can demonstrate that it does — to someone whose job is to doubt it.
Averian has held an independent Digital and Data Quality role inside a top-five global pharmaceutical manufacturer continuously since January 2020, across three manufacturing sites and through a succession of capital and modernisation projects — distributed control systems, manufacturing execution systems, process historians, building and environmental monitoring, sterilisation and lyophilisation equipment, water systems, spray drying and laboratory instrumentation.
We describe this work by sector and by system type. We do not name clients, and nothing published here identifies their internal processes or systems.
Reach
Averian works across the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, from a single office in Limerick, Ireland. Work in the Middle East has included strategy advisory at national utility and banking level; our founder is registered with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as an International Adviser.
That footprint matters for one practical reason: a strategy written for an Irish or UK market rarely survives being copied into another regulatory regime, and we have done the translation often enough to know where it breaks.
Not a proposal, not a pitch deck — a short conversation, then a written view of how we read it and what we would do about it.
