Averian Book the first step

What we do

Nineteen defined services. Each one starts small.

Averian does not sell a day rate and a promise. Every service has a stated shape, a stated deliverable and a stated price — and the first step in any of them is short enough to approve without a business case.

Practice 01

Strategy & Transformation

Corporate strategy, target operating models, new market entry and the transformation programmes that carry them.

This practice answers to the person who owns the outcome — the chief executive, the board, the founder, the investor. It covers the strategy itself, the documents that get it funded, the technical leadership that delivers it and the cash discipline that keeps the company solvent while it happens.

All seven, in detail

Typically bought by
Chief executive, board, founder, investor.
Usual first step
A two-day Technical Assessment, or an RQI Review of a document you are about to submit.
Named services
Seven.

Practice 02

Averian SWAT — Software Analysis & Test

Independent software analysis, test and validation for organisations delivering technology change that cannot be allowed to fail.

This practice answers to the people accountable for delivery — the CIO, the IT director, the programme manager, the head of quality. It runs from a one-day risk map through to full validated delivery inside an externally inspected environment, and it is deliberately independent: we do not build the systems we assure.

All eleven, in detail

Typically bought by
CIO, IT director, programme delivery manager, head of quality.
Usual first step
A one-day Heat Map, or a two-to-five-day Testpresso when the need is immediate.
Named services
Eleven.

How an engagement runs

Small, then smaller commitments — not the other way round.

  1. 01

A short first step, priced up front

A Heat Map, a Technical Assessment or a Testpresso. Days, not months. Fixed price, agreed before we start.

    One to five days
  2. 02

    Information you did not have

Every step produces something that stands on its own — a map, a document, a findings pack — and remains useful whether or not you go further.

    Yours to keep
  3. 03

The next step named, and costed

We tell you what we think should happen next and what it costs. Including, where it applies, that nothing should happen next.

    Your decision
  4. 04

Delivery, with a stated option to stop

Larger engagements run to formal checkpoints. At each one you get a dashboard, a return-on-investment position and a costed set of options — one of which is always to stop.

    Checkpointed

Tell us the problem. We will tell you the first step.

Not a proposal, not a pitch deck — a short conversation, then a written view of how we read it and what we would do about it.
